When to Use

Use quarterly to audit content performance, find gaps, and prioritize optimizations.

Audit Process

Step 1: Inventory

  • Export all published URLs with metadata
  • Map to target keywords and search intent
  • Tag content type: blog, landing page, docs, etc.

Step 2: Performance Analysis

Pull for each URL:

  • Organic sessions (last 90 days vs. prior 90)
  • Keyword rankings (position + trend)
  • Backlink count
  • Engagement metrics (time on page, bounce rate)

Step 3: Classify Content Health
